Some
say ...the roundhouse here at Bob's was at one time a 24 HOUR
Steak House
...back in the early 60's before the main freeway (Hwy 1) was opened.
That was when Fraser Highway was the main route EAST!
Later in the 60's, it became The Oasis drive-in featuring burgers and fish & chips ~ remember?
In the 70's Louise & Otto ran it as the Roundhouse Restaurant serving great schnitzels and steaks.
Then
in the 80's the roundhouse became a fine dining
establishment run by Bruce & Debbie.
In
the 90's the building closed for several years
until 2000 when it was remodeled by Fritz & Franz from the Bedford House!
Today,
the roundhouse is still here for your enjoyment as Bob's Bar
n' Grill ~
...bringing you a combination of fine dining and fun times!
